Ladies First! Friday Nights is Coming!
March is Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month, but did you know that it’s also Women’s History Month?
NYCHC’s newly formed Women’s Committee wants to celebrate Women’s History Month with our fellow blood sisters in the NYC area.
Join us for our first Ladies First! Friday Nights on March 23, 2018. Ladies First! Friday Nights are social gatherings for women in the NYC bleeding disorders community. These activities (scheduled for Friday nights) are an opportunity for women in the community to get together in a positive and supportive atmosphere to learn, grow, and be together. Ladies First! Friday Nights are open to all women in the bleeding disorders community (affected women, carriers, and caregivers).
In partnership with the ladies at Craft Jam Inc., we’re having a Self-Love Hand Lettering workshop and happy hour. This month’s workshop is all about self-love, self-care, and positivity! Catch up with old friends, meet some new friends, and create an awesome art piece to take home.
Join us for 2.5 hours of:
- basic techniques in hand lettering and creating your own art piece
- delicious bites, beer, wine, and other refreshments
- a supportive group of gal pals
This event is 100% F R E E to women in the bleeding disorders community. Refreshments are included in admission, however, you must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Supplies are also included.
