About Our Speaker 

Dr. April Willis has worked at the campus, district, and state levels of education and holds certifications in the Superintendency, Principalship, and eight teaching roles. She currently serves as the principal Business Coach and Consultant for April Willis Consulting, LLC. She has a team of seven individuals who support non-profits, small businesses, and start-ups with all operations and back-office support. April has also been supporting the hemophilia community through her work with the Coalition for Hemophilia B for the past two years in an Education and Development role.

April is part of the Forbes Coaches Council, President of Hutto Women’s Alliance, and active leader with the Junior League of Austin, a member of Social Venture Partners Austin, and sits on several City boards for her community.

April holds a Doctorate and three Master’s degrees, including an MBA. She has published two books on achieving academic & professional excellence, as well as founded a scholarship in its 6th year to invest in students who can prove they will make a difference in the world by leading with confidence and integrity.
