Record Attendance and Sessions at NYCHC Annual Meeting
More than 300 community members came to the NYCHC Annual Meeting on Sunday, December 2nd starting at 10:00am at the New York Marriott Downtown. Participants heard a Chapter update from Founder and President Melissa Penn. Melissa’s presentation included the premiere of a new video about the New York City Hemophilia Walk created by brothers and community members Aaron and Alex Craig.
This was followed by a main educational session entitled My Life, Our Future – Genotyping for Progress in Hemophilia. Attendees learned about an exciting nationwide project designed to improve research and treatment through increased knowledge of the genetic makeup of individuals with bleeding disorder.
