Outpatient Factor Bill Shelved for This Year but Positive Outcomes Abound
As the New York State Legislature takes its final lap for the season, the New York City Hemophilia Chapter (NYCHC) has received word that no further action will be taken on our outpatient factor legislation this year. The decision has been attributed to remaining uncertainties around the actual cost of the legislation. However, there is still cause for celebration as the process yielded many positive results; the Chapter and our fellow bleeding disorders associations across the state have a lot to be proud of.
