Meet Alex Borstein, Family Guy’s “Lois Griffin,” at the New York City Hemophilia Chapter’s Tenth NYC Hemophilia Walk, Sunday, May 31st in Riverside Park. Borstein is a national spokesperson for the National Hemophilia Foundation and a carrier of hemophilia. “NHF is important and special to me, having grown up watching my brother and uncle traverse a myriad of hardships, pains and losses as members of the bleeding disorders community,” she says. 
The NYC Hemophilia Walk is the oldest and largest of forty NHF Hemophilia Walks across the country. The New York City Walk attracts thousand of participants and has raised more than $250,000 for education, advocacy and research in each of the last several years. In this tenth year, the goal is $300,000.
