Día de la Educación para la Comunidad Latina con Desórdenes de Coagulación y Fiesta de Halloween
Los invitamos a participar en el Día de Educación dirigida a la Comunidad Latina con desórdenes de coagulación este Domingo 20 de Octubre del 2019 en el Hotel Residence Inn en Times Square.
Las sesiones de adultos serán en español y las sesiones de niños (de 6-12 años) serán en inglés.
Durante el evento tendremos rifas de una Laptop nueva, 2 Amazon Echo Dot y 5 Tarjetas de regalo.
Tendremos actividades asignadas para los niños de 6 a 12 años: aprenderán cómo funciona el DNA y la relación con la hemofilia construyendo hebras con dulces; pintarán máscaras de super héroes y muchas actividades interesantes para ellos. Mientras tanto los niños de 2-5 años jugarán con niñeras encargadas de ellos quienes hablan español e inglés. Estas actividades estarán desde el inicio del evento.
Los adultos se centrarán en aprender sobre la ciencia detrás de la hemofilia, aprenderán a identificar si su hijo está siendo intimidado (bullying) y aprender mejor acerca de sus opciones de seguro.
Tendremos desayuno completo y lunch incluido
Todos los niños regresarán a casa con un regalo / juguete.

Join us for our annual Bleeding Disorder Education Summit for the Latino Community on Sunday October 20, 2019 at the Residence Inn at Times Square!
This event will feature sessions for children and adults that will be in Spanish.
We’ll be raffling off a new Laptop, 2 Amazon Echo Dot and 5 Gift Cards!
We will have structured activities for kids age 6-12 since the beginning of our event: they will learn how DNA works and the relationship with hemophilia, building DNA strands with candy; superhero mask painting and more interesting activities. Meanwhile kids from 1-5 will play with our baby-sitters who speak Spanish since the beginning of our event too.
Adults will focus on learning more about the science behind hemophilia, learning how to identify if your child is being bullied and learning how to better understand your insurance options.

- Free raffle tickets available only to individuals and families that arrive before 10 am
