Inhibitor Summits This Summer in Miami and San Diego
This Summer, the National Hemophilia Foundation will again be hosting educational summits for families and individuals affected by hemophilia with an inhibitor. An inhibitor is an immune response to clotting factor that occurs in some patient and prevents the factor from working properly. The meetings will be held from July 19-22 in Miami, FL and from August 2-5 in San Diego, CA. The summits will feature opportunities to interact with other affected families and hear the latest information on treatment and research from experts in the field. Travel and lodging assistance is available for individuals.
