Looking Back at our 20th Unite Walk

In News, NYCHC Events, Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, Upcoming events

On Sunday, June 1, the New York City bleeding disorders community came together at Flushing Meadows for our 20th Anniversary Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk!

Every year, the Walk allows us to come together to remember our history while also doing our part to ensure a brighter future for those living with bleeding disorders today. This single day of support, love and togetherness reminds us all that though bleeding disorders are rare, together, we are strong and united.

Because of your incredible support, we exceeded our goal of raising $200,000! Your dedication and commitment to our community is amazing. Though our Walk has passed, donations to support our community can still be made until December 31, 2025.

Help Us Reach Even Higher

It truly takes a village to make this day a success. Please join us in thanking:
  • The 46 Teams and their Team Captains who shared their stories, asked their friends and family to donate and helped us raise awareness. Your commitment to our community is inspirational.
  • The 47 individuals who earned Factor Club medals for raising at least $500 on their personal fundraising pages.
  • The 1,106 unique donors who gave what they could to support our mission.
  • The more than 25 volunteers who joined us on Sunday to help us set up, clean up, and make the day go smoothly. We could not have done this without you.
  • The following Walk Committee Members who spent months planning for this special day: Francesca Gambino Baquero, Shari Bender, Regina Buccellato, Ryan Camberdella Jr., Erin Cirelli, Teresa Coutsouradis, Jackie Heney, Jeri Krassner, Yasmin Pavri, Kim Spalter, and Hope Woodcock-Ross.
  • Our incredible sponsors and corporate supporters. Your investment in our community will make a difference for years to come.
