Julia Golier, M.D. is a psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder. She is currently the Chief Psychiatrist at the VA Hospital in the Bronx and on the faculty of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  She has a long-standing interest in the health and welfare of the bleeding disorder community.  She has participated in educational, advocacy and fundraising events within the chapter and is excited to be joining the board at a time when mental health awareness is increasingly a focus in the community at the local and national levels.

She also serves on the board of the Concordia Conservatory in Westchester, where she lives with her husband and two children, and on the advisory committee to the Philip Roth Personal Library at the Newark Public Library.
