About The Series

Living with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders, especially during the pandemic, can be overwhelming. Stress is a normal psychological and physical reaction to the demands of life. During this time, many people in our community may find themselves feeling helpless, sad, angry, irritable, hopeless, anxious or afraid. They may have trouble concentrating on typical tasks, changes in appetite, body aches and pains, or difficulty sleeping, or they may struggle to face routine chores.

To address these issues head on, NYCHC hosted “Finding Your Inner Joy:” a 12-part weekly series of 30-minute virtual events to help you feel connected while getting educated–all in a virtual setting. All videos and resources from this series are listed below.
