The NYCHC Gala is a fundraising event held in the heart of Manhattan. This is a special night to raise awareness and funding for the bleeding disorders community, have fun, and enjoy delicious food. The 2016 Gala will be held at the Manhattan Penthouse on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Through the Gala, held at the Manhattan Penthouse, we raised over $98,000 for our work in support of bleeding disorders (including advocacy, travel grants, and education). We also honored long-time advocate for women with bleeding disorders, Jeanette Cesta, with the Award of Distinction. Julia Martin Alvarez was also honored as our 2016 Susan Galligan Volunteer of the Year.

Special Guest speakers included Patrick James Lynch and Christopher Ambrosio, who shared their inspiring stories of challenges and successes in spite of having bleeding disorders. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, made connections, and danced the night away with surrounded by beautiful views of Manhattan.
