Honoring Cyrus Pavri

It is with deep sadness that we inform you the passing away of Cyrus Jimi Pavri on December 4, 2021 at about 1:15 pm. Cyrus was a man of few words but a man of true words. He recently bore the loss of both his parents, Aloo and Jimi F. Pavri. Cyrus was an obedient son, a good brother to Hilla, a caring son and brother in law of late Faradoon J. Patel and Arnavaz and Bakhtavar F. Patel. He was a very loving husband to his wife of 19 years Yasmin, and mostly he was the world’s greatest dad to his daughter Farah and son Porus. Shortly after he came to the United States with his family he joined the ZAGNY community and has been serving at the post of Treasurer. His loyalty and honesty was unmatched. A true gentleman and a role model to young scouts where he volunteered every Monday evening and was in-charge of their Eagle Projects. He was generally a brave fighter but his heart attack was massive and took him away from us too soon. We pray for his soul to get peace and find comfort with the fact that he will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. We will miss him a lot. Garothman behest ho jo ji.

Cyrus embodied all that is the spirit of the New York City Hemophilia Chapter – devotion to the bleeding disorders community with drive, passion and love.

It is with our deepest condolences and utmost respect that we are establishing a scholarship in Cyrus’ memory.
