In 2006, a handful of New York families and friends affected by bleeding disorders went to Riverside Park and started the first Hemophilia Walk. We realized that by standing together we could make a difference for ourselves and our children. There was excitement in the air that first beautiful day, and the promise of a better tomorrow. Many of you were there with us, and many more joined in the years that followed.
Now in 2018, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) has re-branded the Hemophilia Walk to be more inclusive of others in the bleeding disorders community. Introducing the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk!
